Honey, Nicki and Sophie
This is how I give my girls some grass. Its made from 2x4's=4x4 feet square w/ 1x1 deer netting from Lowes on top. I lay it down where I want it, w/ bricks in the center, to keep the girls from stretching the screen apart when they get on top. I sprinkle loam into it and then I sprinkle in some grass seed. Water n wait, and in a few weeks their eating what's sprouting threw and as it grows they keep it trimmed! I pick up and carry to another spot once I want to give them the royal treatment!
Henny-Penny She's one of my RI Reds who always makes sure she's the first! At the cost of a few feathers at times! edited July 16,13. That was the day I lost her! Not sure how except I lost Rhoda on the 12th of that same month & year to a Hawk. I saw her stuck in his claws :( I cried so hard at her loss cuz she was always w/ me.
My Rhodies don't seem to care much for my flowers!
