Is that off the ground? Just worried about jumping out. My last batch were free ranging in my bedroom by the second week. They would spend lots of time figuring out how to get out and then scream bloody murder if they did. Nothing like crawling around under the bed after a duckling at 2am.
@Magnolia DucksI picture me crawling under my bed, there are plenty of boxes with enough space for a little duckling to run through. Yes, it is off the ground and i am worried about escapes, but i have tons of cardboard-boxes in the house and will increase the height of the pool with a cardboard strip.
I don't think they will jump out when they are very little but by 2-3 weeks I would put maybe cardboard or a dog pen a round the kiddie pool(they will try to jump out...mine did). The cardboard will get wet but it will still be good!
