Made this feeder from 3" pvc. I didn't bother to glue the pieces together since they already fit tight. Put a cap on the top. It holds enough food to last 3 days for my 3 girls.

They were using it within the hour.

Attached the ladder rack I found at Walmart and used velcro to hold the jug in place.

Screwed the piece on the bottom and glued the pvc to it after drilling the hole for the nipple in the cap on the end.

Sorry, but I can't name the plumbing parts, but you'll get the idea. The guys at Home Depot were very helpful with this project.

I took a jug cooler to make a waterer for my chickens so they could have cold water for the summer months.
