My chicks arrived today. Red sex links from Ideal Poultry. I placed them in the brooder with no mishaps (yay!). The found their feed and water with no problem. After just a short period of "huddling" they began to spread out and enjoying their new digs.
Here is another repair. The chicken door was rotted, as was the frame and much of the bottom 24" of the siding. It was still structurally good, but lacks a certain "curb appeal." The door will have a bolt on the outside and it will open directly into their run.

Here are the chicks (some of them) after being here six days. They arrived last Tuesday 2/18 and today is Monday 2/24.

Here is the inside of the first brooder compartment. The heat lamp in the rear is a 125watt from Lowe's, but I'll use red heat lamps (150watt) in all compartments where I have chicks. The back is still a little wet from cleaning.
The chicks are due to arrive next Tuesday (18 February). I have 14 cu ft. of pine shavings and 100 lbs of chick starter plus feeders and waterers ready to go.
Here is a pic of the brooders after some cleaning. I've run electricity to this building so I can have lights (florescent light in pic) and electric inside the brooders for heat lamp and red lights. There are six brooder "compartments" along the left wall and two more along the right wall.
