The angle of the elbow at the top works well in the location I placed the feeder.
And you may have noticed that I added 45 degree elbows on the top of both feeders I have finished. This makes it much easier to access the one in this pen.
Yes, a regular end cap works, but this is so much more fun!

The "inventions" thread provided me with some outstanding ideas. I took the PVC feeder "idea" and added a twist of my own--a threaded clean-out plug cap, threaded clean out plug, and a chain to keep the cap from getting lost in the deep litter.
