The Before -this setup wasn't ideal because the doors were flimsy and there was a lip on the cleaning door so I couldn't easily scrape out the bedding. It would also get caught in the edge and prevent the door from closing.

The chicks first day outside (we had an unused dog kennel that we setup for a secure run - we have a lot of birds of prey in our area so free range wasn't my first choice)
Brand new coop! This was taken before the chicks took up residence.
We got a rain barrel installed behind the house - we use the water for the chickens, gardening, etc. It was an easy, eco-friendly addition!
