Mrs. Peep is the black hen, Hermione is the white one (yes, we're Potterheads.) Lefty is the largest one, and Herman is the buff Roo. He just started crowing a few days before this pic was taken! I had to bribe them to come out of the coop with Snap Pea Crisps and spinach because it's still below freezing here. 2/14

Our farm in December 2013
One of our Japanese bantams got broody in February, so we moved her into the mud room of our house. That was the cleanest chicken coop I've ever had!
