These doors open to a storage area for feed and such. I have planted 4 O'Clocks and Hollyhocks around the coop. There is a climbing rose bush on the left.

I brought my little flock home in a dog carrier. There are two older (approx 12 weeks) gilrs and 4 younger (18-10 weeks-old). 3 are Buff Orppingtons, 2 are Barred Rocks and the last girls is an indeterminate bred, but is very sweet and talkative too. They arrived the last week of June 2012. They settled in quite happily.

This is the view from our pergola. The Butterfly bush provides afternoon shade and helps screen the coop from the neighbors a bit.
