This little 7x11' building is my personal cabin and sewing machine workshop. There used to be a vintage travel trailer (my sewing room!) parked under that big roof, but it has been moved, leaving all this wonderful dry, roofed space to build a place for my future flock of banties. There is a small woodstove in the cabin as well as electricity for lights and radio. I live far out in the woods on a funky hippie farm with many workshops, studios and outbuildings in addition to the main house, shared by 5 adults and will be using recycled materials as much as possible. The cabin is 70% re-used free materials and sits on a gentle rise with trees and a meadow nearby. The climate is mild marine western Oregon - a lot of rain, cold damp winters, mild dry summers. Still researching the best breeds of chickens for me, and if i want to go with chicks or started pullets. I'm getting chickens for soil-building & landscape help, eggs, companionship and beauty.
