Topaz, my beautiful Brahma hen. Taken in the summer of this year. My beautiful Brahma Topaz is nesting on her eggs. I thought she was a Buff Orpington as a chick, but it turned out we bought two Brahmas from my local IFA store. It was a great blessing to get Brahmas, because these chickens love my coop and bring happiness to it! They love digging in the dirt, which is great because it keeps it aired out. I think in the future I will buy more of this breed! She is now three years of age, the oldest hen I've had!
