I very quickly realized the thermostat mounted in the egg compartment wasn't stable enough - too wide of a temperature swing (5 to 7 degrees). This site (Thanks Guys) provided the solution: mount the thermostat near the light source so that radiant heat acts on it ( and drill a few vent holes in the corners for good measure). We're off to the races! Cross your fingers
