They actually prefer their coop to free ranging and are far too sweet to mix into a flock of Rhode Island Reds or other dominant breeds. One of the prodigy twins--the other's on the nest. She's only eight months in this photo, but at the show in February she received "Crest++" on her card. The judge said he can't wait for her to grow up. She's held no higher than any of my birds, but I am very proud of her. And she dodged hawks a couple times when she was littler.
