WHAT is THIS?
Thank you all for the links and information. My 6 hens have a purpose, to lay eggs for food and when it's time, that they will serve as a meal after their time of egg laying. Hubby made me promise not to name them and reminds me daily they aren't pets like our dogs, tho he sees me spoiling them...- 1chickenmomma11

I keep trying to add the picture but it won't let me This dime size piece was separate from the rest of the eggs inside the shell. As soon as she laid it I brought it inside to my basket. 2 days later I cracked it open to cook. And I do not have a rooster. It just shocked me.
