    Help identify breed

Pretty babies! I'm unsure, but I would recommend using the chat feature on the Meyer website. I've ordered this assortment several times and their customer service and advice is hard to beat. I bet they'd have an answer for you in moments.

    Power Cut During Lockdown

Great! You can hardly go wrong with these awesome little incubators. I have eight silkie eggs in mine right now, and today is day 21! My fingers and toes are crossed, too!

    Hatching Silkies!

Today is day 21, and we have 8 silkie eggs in a Brinsea Mini Advance II. I incubated them in two groups and put them all together for lockdown. These poor eggs have been through so much! First, shipping was delayed (arrived on a Tuesday instead of a Saturday) due to a holiday. That meant that...

    1st Grade Hatch-a-Long! (and a few questions)

Unfortunately, her issue truly was a shrink wrap. It was terribly sad, but part of the process sometimes! The living chick is doing great and getting fluffy.

    1st Grade Hatch-a-Long! (and a few questions)

We now have pips in two eggs (4:00 PM). Everything still looks great! I anticipate waking up to several babies tomorrow.

    1st Grade Hatch-a-Long! (and a few questions)

I am a first grade teacher in Texas, and we currently have 7 New Hampshire Reds on Day 22 in the Brinsea Mini Eco Advance. These eggs were shipped from Meyer Hatchery and set from Thursday until Tuesday before I put them in the incubator. All have developed well and the incubation process has...
