Just to add, the birds are indoors 24/7 at the moment due to the bird lock down in my area, iv moved all my birds into temporary housing while I remove all bedding to be burned and deep clean the buildings again. I'm hoping nothing is wrong and it's a coincidence

6 months ago we got a parcel of land, mainly keep our chickens and ducks on. On the land are 2 large brick built buildings which we used a number of different cleaning agents ranging from Bleach to Verkon multiple times.

I have just been watching them, they where drinking for ages but not 1 held their hwas up after trying to take a drink as of to swallow any water. I habe 40 of the drinking cups i might dismantle 1 and see if i can find away to increase the flow rate. Ill get back to here with my results...
I know this topic is years old but i have got the same drinking cups and the past week my bantams havent managed to work out that if they peck and knock the yellow part that water will come out. Has anyone got any idea on how i could increase the pressure slightly? My bucket is a 30 gallon...
Hi, i have a rooster named Kickster in the same situation :/ i have given him antibiotics today which was his first dose. Today both of his eyes had gone really bad over night, now i want to make a saline solution to help him until the antibiotics begin to work.

I think it may be viral, i bought 5 ex battery hens and added then to my flock and the next day i noticed 1 with this problem. Then 1 week later 4 more which 2 of them are my brahmas and not the ex bat hens.
Coop is cleaned monthly and never gets smelly, they are fed fresh Premium Layers...
TCP is a antiseptic ill attach a photo of a TCP bottle.
I thought the same with using bleach or milton, hes a old man who has had chickens for 40 years and he swears by it BUT i still have my doubts.
The coop is around 20 foot long by 15foot wide and they are free ranged on a large allotment...
Hi, i have around 6 of my hens which have started to make a crackling sound when breathing. Non of the vets treat poultry and a friend has suggested diluting TCP in their water and it will 'fix'the problem.
I am reluctant to do that as i think it may be bad for the hens? Has anyone got any info...

The person i bought them off sells alot of breeds, also said they have 400 for sale of the ones i purchased so im guessing your right regarding the production facility.
