Hens with very pale combs. Not sure if something wrong

Hi, i have just purchased some hens. I have noticed the combs are very pale compared to my other hens of the same breed which are bright red combs and wattles. Im not sure if there is a health problem or not. Any help is appreciated. I have attached photos. Please dont think im keeping them in a box, it is just for transport around the corner to my allotment which they will have free range of.

They look like they are birds from a production facility. They have not had a really good life until now. Once you have had them a month or so you will see a dramatic improvement in their appearance. They got lucky when you purchased them.

The person i bought them off sells alot of breeds, also said they have 400 for sale of the ones i purchased so im guessing your right regarding the production facility.

I will see if they change and i will report back with a photo.

@20andy19 Several of us would like to check in with you and see how your new girls are doing. Hope all is well and your girls are enjoying their new life
