You may know this already but Ideal Poultry is a Texas hatchery. I got 15 SS chics from them four weeks ago and I am still at 100%. They won't ever be show chickens without a lot of work but they will produce eggs and meat.
When I got my chics from the hatchery the roos had some sort of ink paint on their heads. Maybe it wasn't paint because the feathers weren't tacked together but it was some kind of dye or marking powder.

It depends on state laws. Here in Texas you can sell cows, eggs, chickens fruits and vegetables without having a business license. You basically just keep track of your profits and report it as agricultural income.
I don't know what the laws are in your area but it shouldn't be hard get...
One or two of my Chics is a little behind as well. I would admit that they aren't that far behind but some do develop slower. I figured the two that weren't feathering were just on the runt side of the flock.
I gave them parakeet grit because I had to run to walmart any way. I offered it to them separatly and they didn't seem terribly interested. It is mainly very tiny sand not the usual oyster stuff you get at most feed stores. The chicks are going outside for play time for an hour or so a day...
