What do you have to do in order to sell eggs and/or chicks?

I was just wondering, right now these are just gonna be my babies.
But was wondering what you need in order to sell the eggs for consumption or incubation
and the chicks .
I live in Tennessee if that matters any

It depends on state laws. Here in Texas you can sell cows, eggs, chickens fruits and vegetables without having a business license. You basically just keep track of your profits and report it as agricultural income.

I don't know what the laws are in your area but it shouldn't be hard get the information you need.

google your local statutes, you'll find it if you dig! Mine were a bear to figure out, but it's there somewhere on the interweb

I just did a quick google for "Tennessee Dept of Ag selling poultry eggs" - used the same search criteria when I was looking for the Oregon rules for selling eggs.
