    Just checked the comb and the area has expanded back out and the pore? seems recovered. I believe it is less tender as he didn't seem to mind me looking at it as much.

    I don't know about the injection. I had an adult that a had a long cut along the neck and the skin definately was loose and flapped around. I neosporined and taped it close as best I could so dirt etc wouldn't get in and it healed fine. It was ... difficult to get the tape out of the neck...

    I have not been able to lure him into the pump house to catch him. I took this with a telephoto so not the best shadowing from bright sun. 1) I think this may be a pocket but will have to catch him to be sure 2) deeper crevasse and the debris can be cleaned out 3) same as 2
