    Newbie questions about bubbling eye and another dead hen

    Hi, About 6 weeks ago we bought three hens (white rock, barred rock, and an americauna) from a small bird "farm" (parrots to geese to chickens, etc.). Not long after, the americauna had bubbling in one eye and she would keep in only partially open. We thought she just got something in it...

    My husband went to a feed store this morning here in Gainesville and was told that within city limits we could have 3 hens.
