Escaped chicken--How do I trap it?

I found 1 place she goes; in the Middle of a lot of trumpet vine in top of a fence. Yikes for getting her before she jumps and flies. It has me worried she will get lost in the dark with no idea where to hide.

    Help! Winter is coming!

Try making a support for a tent frame with a steel pipe setup that is stocked by some stores. Or Sch 40 plastic pipe with 45Deg top angles and 45Deg sides to ground level and put up tarp or anodized metal roofing (permanent) with more supports to hold it in place.

    limestone on coop floor

Be really careful Not to put chicks on the pine chips/shavings. They will try to eat them after they get a bit of age. Raise them separate till they are old enough that the adults will Not attack them; have them in an adjoining section where they are just a fence wire apart .

Brooder has metal wire/mesh floor. Is that okay for baby chick feet?

Try carpet samples too; or get remnants and cut to fit needs; can be hosed off if synthetics. Cheap to get too; Carpet that is industrial is nearly smooth and will clean easily. These are fast to change as well.
