    Hi Hybridchucks - I have a few more questions, hope you don't mind me writing to you. I have read that the chick will begin to lay at around 6 months of age? is this correct?
    Also, how will we know what eggs are fertilised and what eggs are not.....should we keep the chick separate from the roosters?
