    Feels soft like liquid but no smell. They are acting just fine maybe they just drink a lot of water?

    I have 2 polish that were supost to be pullets but one was showing he was a he fast. He was less then 2 months old when he started crowing. The other one was about 1.5 months later then he turned out to be a he and started crowing. He did not show any fethers or anything just started crowing...

    How old are they? My silkie roo is 3 months and he has been crowing for about 3 weeks now. Is that early?

    I know what the rooster problem is. The last batch of chicks I got 5 out of 6 are roosters. So out of 22 chickens I have 5 roosters. 2 d'uccls, 2 polish, 1 silkie.

    Thanks I will have to check this out. I want to try and get just one breed and try to breed them but want to do it right. I like the way my d'uccles are so maybe I will try them.
