Swollen chest on my hens?

I have a few hens that there chest is swollen and is kinda soft. Is this somthing wrong or is this somthing that happens when the weather gets colder?

Could it just be their crop?

I thought that to but I have never seen it so soft. But I could be wrong.

Give it a massage. Do it feel like feed - mushy but gritty or does it feel completely soft like liquid? Does it smell sour inside their mouth?

Feels soft like liquid but no smell. They are acting just fine maybe they just drink a lot of water?

Could be. If you are really worried about check them first thing in the morning before they have had anything to eat. It should be gone. If it not then you may have a problem.

How long have you had chickens? How old are they?

I have had them sense the spring. So about 8-p months. I will check in the morning.
