    What do i have??

    So this serama hen I have is growing some crazy little feathers that I can't find any information online about. Please inform me if you have this feather type or if I caused it somehow. She is the only chicken I've ever had with feathers like this.

    Fresh bedding must be comfy.

    Cleaned and replaced the straw and shavings and gave em a pile of scraps and then i turn around and find em like this lol

    chicks are finally out of the brooder!

    Yesterday we took the chicks out for their first night in their quick coop :) it got windy and a little chilly last night so i did some quick covering up and extra straw and took their heat lamp out too. Woke up early to check on them and everybody seemed happy and full of energy! All 22 chicks...

    My friend has this bantam hen which i really want but cant talk her into giving her up lol so instead ill tryand get some of my own except im not sure what to call the color or breed.

    Thanks a ton! I will add some pictures as soon as i figure out how to. We love our chickens and they wil be kept as pets and eggs will be a plus. We also live in a community where farming is a major part of the economy so we have lots of friends willing to take on any extra chicks we have later...
