    Brooding: Inside or Outside?

Then I think that you should go for it!

    Dead or alive?

When we hatched, we did not hear ours peeping, so I think since they were still positive on day 18 and 19 that you have nothing to worry about. ;)

    Comb issue

If it is frostbite, I suggest rubbing on some vaseline. Since he has such a big comb, he is at a very high risk for it. See if that helps it go away at all, and if it doesn't I don't know what to tell you. :idunno

    Brooding: Inside or Outside?

I have always brooded indoors, however, if your barn is free from drafts, I do think you may want to give it a shot. But make sure that you have a good heat source to keep your birds warm.

    I'm New!!

Hello, I am so excited to join Backyard Chickens! I have 9 beautiful birds, and I am getting 8 more in the beginning of April. (I will be sure to post pics of my new chicks!!) I have had a few of my girls for about a year and a half, and the rest for about 8 months. (I hatched the latest group!)
