    yeah, you dont need to tell me ;-) and :-(... but I'm going to fencing in about 1/2 acre area... I think I'll just have the HT fence up and then shut them in at night.

    that's too bad... we have had some winter weasel problems, although no summer weasel problems... I'm not sure what can keep a weasel out in the summer time, unfortunately, and hopefully we don't have that problem.

    Just picked up this chicken to keep our other Red Star company after the unfortunate death of Henny Penny. The owner didn't know the breed, and we had no idea either, even after scouring the breed list here on BYC and on other website. Any ideas?

    today she's still more or less the same - able to walk around a bit during the day, but still sits down on the grass for a lot of the time too. at least she's well enough to make it up to roost at night.
