The duck house is coming along nicely. Here is what I have done so far.
I will post more pictures once we are finished. The little guys are now as tall as the sides of the dog kennel they are in. I can't get over how fast they are growing!
Our new runners! Hatched on Monday and arrived this morning from Metzer Farms. We got the runner assortment because nobody here could agree on which color we should get. I think there are 4 fawn and whites, 6 chocolate, and 1 black, but that is just my guess. I was very pleased with how happy...
They are finally here! The post office called me at 7:30 this morning and we went to pick them up. They all arrived in good shape and are much more active than I ever remember chicks being. Now we need to get to work on that duck house!
Amiga, is it all enclosed like a little house, or is it partially a screened in pen? I am trying to figure out how much of each type of space they will need. Do you close them up in a smaller coop at night, or do they have free run of the entire 101 square foot area all night?
