The chicks and chicken/rooster were raised in a coop together with no run. We got them just over two weeks ago. The chicks are now approx 10 weeks old.
They are now in a larger coop with access to a closed in open area. They were enclosed in the coop for 2 weeks in order to encourage them...

There are 2 full windows which are the full length of the coop - 2 metres (approx 7ft) by about a metre. They are covered by material so if there is any wind - it can get in at the edges as night.
We are in Israel.. Not quite as hot as texas - average temperature here at the moment is...
If we are lucky enough there will be rain in november......
I suppose we could make some fake rain with a mist attachment to a hose - but I am not sure if that is cruel or not. I don't wish to be intentionally cruel !
Update - so this evening the rooster went into the coop on his own which is progress and I hope that will continue. All the rest stayed outside - again.
Looking for any ideas and input as we really don't want to have to catch them every evening...

Does anybody know if any of the online feed/treat companies will ship mealworms outside of the country?
I know that Amazon will ship but they seem to be out of stock for the suppliers that will ship.
