yay, i just got my first egg. i think its from my rir. finally after 22 weeks I got one. its really tiny. kinda weird cause it feels so much heavier from a normal grocery store eggs especially at such a small size.
lol i personally love hearing them crow too. i dont find it annoying one bit. my room is above the garage and i can easily sleep through it if i didnt work in the mornings. it would be nice if my neighbors move, anyways just curious does anyone else here have their chickens in the garage, if so...
hello all, so ive decided to put the boys in the garage and kept the girls in the backyard. they seem to be doing fine. but one of the girls keep making these weird sad almost tone clucking sound. i feel bad but i have no choice to separate them, didnt want the neighbors to complain on me again...

okay so i went to the farm store and they recommended using terramycin and vitamins with electrolytes. They told me i should use terramycin for 14 days then start off with the vitamins. That doesnt make sense to me. Why cant i just mix it together. i dont wanna wait that long for them to start...
i cleaned them up and no sign of injury at all. my brother didnt notice it all. its just so weird. i couldnt find any information on here about walkin on their "knees".
so i was hoping i can trust my brother to take care of my chicks (2 weeks old) to take care of them while i was gone for the weekend. Came back and their brooder was so overfilled with their mess. Anyways, 2 of them are not walking right. my barred rock is walking on his knees and not his feet...
