    Thanks, she appeared to have a wet bottom so I just assumed she broke it laying it or whatever. I will try the vinegar thing, I'd like to eat some eggs too! :)

    Yes, I looked thank you. I meant of all the chickens I have, the barred rock is my favorite, not of the ones sold to me as ameraucanas. The only two sold as ameraucanas were light tan, the others are apparently other 'breeds'. I was only wondering about the light colored "EE" in the pictures...

    Doesn't matter to me either way but I am trying to 'learn' identifying characteristics and the only way it seems to sink in is if people point it out exactly to me. I hope the picture will suffice. I just am trying to figure out the "easter egger type" as opposed to a real Ameraucana. sp? lol...
