Is this an Ameraucana? why or why not?

They're EEs. If you look at the 8 colors of Ameraucana in the link I posted, especially the hen colors, you won't see those there.
Yes, I looked thank you. I meant of all the chickens I have, the barred rock is my favorite, not of the ones sold to me as ameraucanas. The only two sold as ameraucanas were light tan, the others are apparently other 'breeds'. I was only wondering about the light colored "EE" in the pictures. Thanks!

Oh, I think I thought you were talking to me, speckled hen, when probably you were talking to the person who posted the other pics! Sorry for the confusion, I am not really experienced with this forum thing either, I guess! :p Thank you all for the replies though!

Yes, sorry for the confusion, I was talking to Diane about the pictures she posted.

So far, it looks like a pullet, but I'd watch the saddle feathers to see if they are shiny and pointy. That color is hard because when you see red, most would think male, but there is no reason you cannot have a red EE pullet. The comb is very small for an EE male of 9 weeks so right now, it looks female.

Thanks for the hope! S/he really is one of our favorite birds. Keeping fingers crossed.
