    First time hatching eggs, had a successful hatch 10 out 12 but this little one hatched on day 22 last night about 10 pm and looks to have intestine outside it’s body and still hasn’t fluffed up?

    It’s not leaking and the membrane does not look to be harmed at all. I am worried about the bacteria also. This is her only egg she has left. I thought about taking a chick out of the brooder so she thinks she hatched it lol

    My broody hen or another hen knocked out an egg she is sitting on and it is due to hatch in the next 3 or 4 days and it is now cracked. Will it survive? Should I bring it in and put under a heat lamp as I do not have an incubator please any help would be great. Thank you

    Went out this morning and seen one of my hens is having bloody stools. I have 6 hens and a rooster that are almost 24 weeks and 5 hens that are 13 weeks. I am assuming it’s from a older hen because of the area it’s in as the younger ones kind of stay off to themselves. No one is acting different...
