    Do Hens Grieve?

    We had 2 white silkies and recently lost 1. Both were best friends. I have introduced another silkie bit my other 1 just keeps moping about clucking and then goes back to roost. Is this normal?

    Thanks for link that's great but I don't have a big enough coop to keep the cage in overnight so having to put her in her nest overnight rather than her been out in the garden in the cold . Any other ideas pls
