Both are EEs around 9 wks. The white one is my smallest out of this age group. It's around the size of my 5/6wk age group. He is molting but has one kind of curly tail feather and a bit of rust color coming through the shoulders. I know the rule about pea combs doesnt always apply to EEs but...

Seriously thank you
I'm on day 7. This is my first hatch. I've read so many opinions and watched so many videos I feel overloaded. Some say the egg will burst, some say they dont. I'm turning them all by hand several times a day. When I candle them I see no veins at all but I'm seeing embryos. I'm scared none will...
Pretty positive Marigold is a pullet.
Oddly enough it looks like all 11 of the straight runs I bought are pullets. They're maybe 9 weeks now and they all look like miniature hens. Lol. They're even broody. Its hilarious
That wasn't possible, their wings were completely stuck together. I did however provide a heat lamp and used a blow dryer. They actually really loved it.
Quail eggs are notoriously hard to candle (based on what I'm seeing and reading online). I was wondering if and when I should eliminate eggs from my incubator that are completely clear?
