does fruit cause hens to stop laying eggs
I was told that fruit will cause hen's to stop laying eggs for 4 to 6 weeks, is this true? And if so is it all fruit? We did go through a spell last summer/fall where our girls stopped laying eggs and we just got our 1st egg again yesterday.- ajs126

Looking for a new home
We Live in Ray, Michigan I have a Rooster (Dot) that I need to find a new home for. Hi is 1 year old. We thought we were buying 6 chicks last year but 1 ended up a rooster. He attacks me when I try to go near the girls but he doesn't attack my boyfriend. I want to get some more chicks this year...- ajs126

Hi everyone This is my first year with chickens. l am a city girl gone country. Moved out to the country about 4 years ago and wanted to do more than grow produce so we started out small. 3 Bantams in one week..... ?
This is my first year with chickens, I had no idea that things can get into there coop and kill them. We built an indoor coop inside one of our green houses and fenced in the coop and have a trap door to open up so they can come out side in a fenced in area, we even have a fenced (chicken wire)...- ajs126
