Would I get some nutra drench from Tractor Supply. I have been keeping her in a smaller enclosure and have been giving her the chick starter that her chicks are eating. she seams to be getting weaker. still drinking and eating, just not able to hold her own weight, which is not much. she is so...
I have a Chicken that hatched some eggs about 3-1/2 weeks ago and she has been very weak. I was hoping that as she free ranged along with the chick feed I put out for her chicks she would gain her strength and muscle back. She can walk around some but mostly she just wobbles and trips, doing...
Also, some breeds do take a little longer than others to start laying. If they are free ranging than i don't think space would be an issue. However, you should do a thorough search of the yard.
I received my turkey poults in the mail yesterday, so they are maybe 4 days old, and they all seemed to be fine. This morning when I went out, one of them was limp and struggling. Not sure if it just didn't figure out where and how to drink and eat or what. I took a handful of the feed and...

How would I get the bird to the lab without it starting to decay?
I am in eastern NC. I don't think I would say he is paralyzed cause he can still get around, just chooses not to much and not efficiently. I have had him /her (not sure) since he was a chick. There was an error uploading the pic so I'll have to try that again later.
I have a chicken, roughly 18 weeks old, who seems very weak. It can barely hold its own weight and usually just sits. I felt it's legs and it feels like there is hardly any leg muscle, and is pretty boney all over. Also does not hold its wings up which in combination with sitting a lot, the tips...
