    Herbs For Chickens?

That's a great idea! We have lots of flies in the coop right now, no matter how much I clean. I gave them some sage yesterday on accident because they love clover and I was weeding that out of the garden to give them. Well, I clipped some sage to take inside and ended up throwing that into...

    Herbs For Chickens?

Do any of you feed herbs to your chickens? I have an overabundance in my garden and was just wondering if it's ok to give them or if they even enjoy them? Are there nutrition benefits?

    Disgusted and angry....

They are big! Thought crossed my mind too...my uncle had a pack of coyotes that did damage like this, and it was definitely that because he drove right up on it as it was happening! It was a complete slaughter, but yeah the prints are large for coyotes

Found some blood in the coop!

It does seem to be bloody poo,but I can't tell who it's coming from...they all are acting as normal. The older hen is laying right on time, every day, and the younger girls are plucky as always, despite the brutal heat. I hope it's not coccidiosis, I'm worried for that.

Found some blood in the coop!

Hello, everyone! I am new here and quite worried for my hens. I have a 2 year old Sussex and 4 bantams ( 16 weeks) that we have raised since babies. They have been out in their coop/run since they were ten weeks old, the laying hen came to us about two weeks after that and she arrived in...
