Disgusted and angry....

Dogs can travel far when they escape, and you might not know you have some near you until they attack. I have another dog breeder down the street from me, I never even realized until his dogs were up on my front porch fighting through the fence with mine. You might have a neighbor with a few dogs and not even realize if he is to far away for you to hear them bark. If it was dogs I don't think they will be back soon, the owners usually catch them pretty fast and lock them back up. If it was some other predator then you can expect it to return.

I come home after going to the dealership to buy another car and it’s a total massacre! We let out birds free range and something managed to kill all 30 of our pullets and cockerels. It ate a few and just left the rest. Warning graphic. Time to get the 12 gauge and load a nice slug. Not getting away from me. Any idea what this was? so sorry, hope you find out what it was and take care of it or them if dogs

I think you can legally shoot a dog if it is killing your livestock, the owner will definitely not be your friend after that though. It would be good if you could find out whos dogs they were so you could confront them about it, but you won't be able to figure that out unless they return.

Found some tracks, I found two sets they came from the woods so I’m not sure about dogs. They seems a little big to be dogs but I could be wrong. The tracks are huge! Might make a call to DNR. I tried to get clear pictures.

I had coyotes picking off my flock before and they were sneaky. They would take one bird at a time every morning until I had to lock my flock up inevitably and this was during winter that’s why I say this was the sloppy work of playful dogs.

Do you have access to any kind of cameras? Keep your chickens up tomorrow maybe set some cameras around the perimeter of your house. They may not come is close because your chickens are out but they are likely to at least come by the property to check. They know that they had some fun there yesterday so more than likely whatever it was for return. I wish I had a computer to look at this through because I can get a better view of the Track. My heart is still breaking for you and mama
