    Gabapentin dosage for rooster

We have a large, two year old Buff Rock cross rooster who recently had his first toe amputated following an injury. His surgery was about 10 days ago and he will not walk. He is taking Rimadyl, Tramadol and a second round of Baytril. He is getting physical therapy 3-5 times/day including...

Try Animal Acres. They have tons of rescued chickens and are able to rescue more if their girls are adopted out. www.animalacres.org

    CA Anyone???

I don't think he was used for fighting - he's as gentle as a lamb. One of the farmed animal sanctuaries I work for rescued 5 fighters last year and they have to be kept away from the public because they readily attack people. This guy is nothing like them.

    CA Anyone???

Oh yeah! That's exactly what he looks like! He even stands upright the same way and he's very tall. He's coming home from the vet today - I'm going to start researching his breed. Thank you.

Thank you, everyone. He's coming home from the vet today and, while I am so happy to be seeing him again, I know his days are numbered. I can not keep him I posted on the California thread - hopefully someone can help.

    CA Anyone???

Hello California! I live in Westminster/Huntington Beach and rescued a dumped rooster on Friday from a local neighborhood park. He is currently at the vet being treated for a foot problem. I am not zoned to keep this sweet boy and my family is not happy at all with his presence. I am in...

Hello! A friend on facebook suggested I join this forum - I rescued a rooster yesterday in Huntington Beach, CA and am at a loss of what to do. He is extremely emaciated and appears to be molting, but his personality is wonderful - very affectionate and trusting. He is eating well and has...
