CA Anyone???

Thank you, Cari, I will. He is crazy looking, but makes up for his disheveled appearance with a wonderful personality

Oh yeah! That's exactly what he looks like! He even stands upright the same way and he's very tall. He's coming home from the vet today - I'm going to start researching his breed. Thank you.

Here is an Aseel.
The Shamos and Aseels are game birds and a favorite for cock-fighting. Hopefully he wasn't used for this and then dumped when injured. They aren't that easily available for the regular backyard chickener, I have looked.

I don't think he was used for fighting - he's as gentle as a lamb. One of the farmed animal sanctuaries I work for rescued 5 fighters last year and they have to be kept away from the public because they readily attack people. This guy is nothing like them.

thats good

I would take him but I have a lot of roosters already. I will still ask around to some people I know, I also have a game bird breeders meeting on August 5th to go to if you still have him by then, I'm sure he could be adopted from one of the nice people there.

I know someone who would love that bird, not fight him, not eat him. He has a very safe setup for him, and a girl he could live with until he died of old age. Sounds too good to be true, but I am not kidding. PM me
