Reason being, me, nor anyone I have talked to, have ever had an agressive Roo when raised with a head roo, and...not tightly enclosed, as in free range or BIG pen. first pic just looks slightly inflamed. i would think expected when a frozen digit falls off. If it were me, poss antibiotics in water/food jic. No so much keeping it moist but probably wouldn't really hurt. The Iodine sounds great, blukote, rather than keeping it moist. I know dried out...
