All my roosters that have gone mean (2) have been culled. There is nothing I dislike as much as getting attacked by a rooster. I especially dislike the sneaky ones that wait until you turn your back and then run up and get you in the back of the knees!
Awhile back I had two roosters, the...
the first one was on April 1st, and then some had little cracks in them and the tap, tap tap...love that sound!
I had 8 eggs total, one got cracked by another hen when my cochin went on a potty break. I cracked it the rest of the way and it was a dud.
The last chick hatched around noon today...
God will meet your every need, keep your eyes on Him because He wont ever give you more than you can handle. Lift it all up to Him and He will carry your burden. I know its much easier said than done, but keep believing.
Said some prayers for you and believing He has a job waiting for you.

We brought our two horses home from boarding when hubby and I bought our 13 acre place. It had a 30x40 building for hay and tack storage but didnt want the horses in there because its a metal building with an asphalt floor.
We already had perimeter no climb fence and I added hot wire to the...

She came in the ornamental collection of birds. There use to be two of them but one got eaten by the coyote.
They are small and skittish.
