    Been away for awhile.. Ok here's some updated pics of the kids.. The trio look nothing alike.. LOL and sadly the mama duck was lost with her clutch of eggs last month when a crafty coon broke into the duck area.. :( So no more rainbow ducks for awhile.. Here is the yellow one now...

    Rainbow ducks continue.. Here's mix #2 fluffed out and the one that hatched today.. will be interesting to see what the ones the hen is sitting on turn out to be.. maybe mixes but cute little ducks!

    Ok so here's mix #2.. looks more like a Rouen but not.. :p Two more are hatching in the bator now and the hen is siting on a pile due in two weeks.. going to be surrounded by ducklings.. lol

    Ok so decided to incubate a few more eggs to give little yellow some friends first up to hatch looks like a Rouen.. go figure.. the hen is laying on a clutch of eggs now.. I figure when they hatch I'll have a rainbow of ducks.. LOL I'll have to get a shot of it once it's done fluffing up..

    Decided to throw some of the eggs from my production reds in the bator as I only have my cream legbar roo and they hatched out today interesting color almost a reddish tint. They are little cuties.. will be interesting to see what they end up being hoping for great layers of green colored...

    It's a GIRL>.. :) The other girl still needs to fluff up some more.. one more to go fingers crossed it's a girl too then I'll have half and half.. :) She was moving too fast to get better pictures..

    Well I think the later hatchers are girls.. fingers crossed as they are much darker.. one more left to hatch the other two are duds but 6 chicks not bad.. :) I'll post pics of the newest hatchers once they fluff up.. :)

    Thanks.. :) I think I'm only going to have six.. :*( the last three look like duds as no activity and they should have pipped yesterday but going to give them till tomorrow.. Better rate than last time when I had none hatch... still hoping to have some girls in the bator they look like...

    Here they are a bit more fluffed out. The ones still in the incubator are looking darker but they're wet still.. these three in the brooder are nice and fluffed now and I think are all boys :)
