    one more thing , i raised them in cages and on ground and found they do much better on ground covered with wood shavings , in cages easier to collect eggs but more work cleaning and more mortality percentage , on ground they will be much happier but careful not step on eggs

    i raise coturnix and these look mature , they mature on day 40 to day 45 for males and start laying eggs around day 45 , also if you see bits of foam on the ground then males are mature
