Thank you for the response. The kids know that after they touch/help with the chickens they need to wash their hands, but that being said, I didn’t even think about the dust. I was going to do deep bedding I will look to put a vent in beneath the slide. I’m assuming that I should place it high...

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I think I could switch the hinges on the window that is on the side to the right of the steps to open up vs swing out. Do you think that drilling some circular holes and covering with hardware cloth in the side board beneath the decking boards would help?

Being that it will be getting colder sooner than we expect, I have my eye on this heated waterer for our ladies...
