I have been gingerly peeling crustiness off. I gave it a sponge bath in that area. It is from the middle of the back to the tail. Is there any cream I can put on it? Still has a crusty f Seems fine otherwise. One other came at a day earlier and she is fine.

    HELP!! DYING CHICK?

You should have a heat lamp. You can call and then drive up for curb service.

Our LGDs killed a hen this morning.

What is upsetting is that the chicken was ripped open with organs exposed.Ugh!

We spoke with seller. She said to discipline them - not harsh but firm. We did that all day outside yesterday.

How do you train them? I thought protecting was instinctive; especially when you have been interacting with them for 4 weeks.

I don't really need two. We thought they would be good company for each other. They play all the time.

I thought about the energy scenario. One is the leader of this aggressive behavior.

Thank you. We have them separated for now. They were born and raised with chickens and goats. Not sure how to retrain them. But they have been chasing the smaller chickens. They don't seem to bother the larger sizes.
