  • I was just wandering through the forums and thought I'd leave a little update. Dylan (seabright/mille fleur hen) has been laying for a couple months now, Timbit (oegb bb red) is gorgeous. However, he's not mating material because he's too small to mount everyone but my goodness he's my loudest bantam rooster other than my porcelain booted.
Oegb is finally in adult plumage, I was definitely wrong about the crele. He's a bb red, crowing, and non aggressive. My seabright cross is outside in his own condo area. He's small but has a mighty crow. He grew to be a little more than half as big as his sister and they are friendly but my seabright hen cross is slightly high strung like her mom.
The person that was supposed to take the crele never followed through... but he's such a sweet fella we've decided to keep him. I also made a mistake about the crele pattern as he's now 8.5 weeks old. He's a bb red 😱😍💖
Well, I had another person contact me about the crele oegb and I explained the situation and she's willing to take him on and had bantams his age as well. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼
I love your username ! Do you have alpacas?

Yes, we do!! They're retired from breeding so we just do wool. I've told my mom we need an ark because we have rescued sheep and miniature horses as well. The chickens are kind of my thing. I had chicken math when someone asked me and between old birds and my bantams and other layers we have 29 chickens.
