Also I gave the Tylan 50 orally because I’ve never done any kind of injection before. I didn’t want to accidentally hurt them
I hope I don’t sound dumb with all of this. So far my experience as a chicken owner has been very hard and costly
My girl in the picture, Queen, was the first to start having little scabs and shes completely fine now. Nothing wrong with her eyes. I am new at all of this though and it was hard finding a vet willing to even take one of my chickens. Another girl got really scabbed up and it was right on one...
I just wanted to put an update and say that apparently it was fowl pox. I was told most likely it was spread through some mosquitos. My sick girls started scabbing up after. I’m still dealing with two that are affected by it.

Thank you… I think it must be the place they came from too as I’ve never had any chickens before. I can’t imagine where else they would have gotten sick from.
I just started chicken keeping and I feel like everything bad that could happen has happened.
I brought my girls home and noticed one of them slightly sneezing but there was no liquid so it seemed to be innocent. Now, 3 of my 6 are sneezing bubbles and kind of making gurgling sounds. I gave...
I live in California in a Zone 10 area. I currently have a Silkie, RIRs, an Ameraucana, and two Marans. The coop is shaded and I am planning to change theirs to a more open one this weekend to hopefully get more airflow to them.
I have placed frozen bottles around for them but I’ll definitely...
