    My Easter egger has only laid three eggs so far. All consecutive and all healthy. Today she has been in and out of the box for about an hour. She sang her egg song once or twice but no egg. How long should I let her do this before manually checking for a stuck egg?

    I did notice his legs were larger than the girls who were two months older then him when we originally thought it was a girl. The breeder offered to switch him out for a hen since it was his mistake, but we fell in love with him!
